In My Own Words: Frederick Forsyth, wins Royal Television Society award
We are delighted that In My Own Words: Frederick Forsyth, a biographical documentary developed by Portland Literary and produced by Orchard Studios for the BBC about our late friend and partner Freddie Forsyth, has been honoured by the Royal Television Society East Programme Awards. The programme won the factual - specialist show category and is a wonderful tribute to Freddie, his life and works.

Portland Literary Announces New Investment in the Works of E.H. Shepard
We are very excited to have entered into partnership with the family of E.H. Shepard to acquire his remarkable works. As the creator of the original Winnie-the-Pooh illustrations, as well as for his work on The Wind in the Willows, The Secret Garden, and much besides, E.H. Shepard is a mast of modern illustration and fundamentally shaped the landscape of twentieth century storytelling.
We are very excited to have entered into partnership with the family of E.H. Shepard to acquire his remarkable works. We are delighted to have appointed David Young as senior non-executive director. David is an experienced owner and manager of publishing companies having been Chairman and CEO of Hachette USA, Deputy CEO of Hachette UK and CEO of Orion Publishing Group, as well as Chairman of the Association of American Publishers. He was for eight years a director of Tate Enterprises and is a nonexecutive director of Scholastic Corporation and Chairman of Canongate Books Ltd.
