Portland Literary Welcomes David Young as Senior Non-Executive Director

November 2022: We are delighted to have appointed David Young as senior non-executive director. David is an experienced owner and manager of publishing companies having been Chairman and CEO of Hachette USA, Deputy CEO of Hachette UK and CEO of Orion Publishing Group, as well as Chairman of the Association of American Publishers. He was for eight years a director of Tate Enterprises and is a nonexecutive director of Scholastic Corporation and Chairman of Canongate Books Ltd.
